Valerie joined CEO in May of 2017 to manage Denver’s program and operations and then later led the launch of CEO Colorado Springs in September 2018. She now oversees CEO’s offices in Colorado, Kentucky and Oklahoma. Valerie has been working in the workforce development field since 2008. 

Prior to coming to CEO, she worked with the Denver Office of Economic Development in the Workforce Services Division. She began her career overseeing a social enterprise under the umbrella of a transitional work and housing program focused on individuals experiencing homelessness. 

She later oversaw all training, career development and advancement opportunities for the participants in that program. Valerie holds an M.P.A. from University of Colorado - Denver and a B.S. from Northeastern University.
