Nate Garcia

Nate Garcia is the Chief of Staff at the Center for Employment Opportunities. Nate advises and manages operations for the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Team, and Board of Directors. Nate oversees CEO’s organizational goals and project roadmap, internal communications, organizational culture initiatives, and a fundraising portfolio. Since joining CEO in 2019, Nate has led special projects including annual leadership and board retreats, COVID-19 response efforts, and video storytelling productions. Prior to CEO, Nate worked to implement criminal justice reform initiatives both nationally with the MacArthur Foundation, and locally in the Brooklyn Criminal Court with the Center for Justice Innovation. After eight years in Brooklyn, Nate now lives in Los Angeles, where you can find him cooking, playing soccer, and pampering his plants.
