Melissa is an inclusive hiring professional whose focus is on providing opportunity, skill and hope for individuals navigating reentry after incarceration.  With a goal of lasting change, Melissa works on both sides of the equation, by providing consultative services to employers seeking to implement and expand their fair chance hiring efforts, and by working directly with justice impacted individuals to increase their career readiness skills and connect them with meaningful employment opportunities.  

Melissa's experience includes 10+ years of workforce development, including grant and program management, employer consulting, and career coaching for those impacted by the criminal justice system. Justice-impacted herself, Melissa considers herself fortunate to be in a position to effect change because of what she’s been through, rather than in spite of it, fueling her mission to transform hiring systems and create equitable pathways to employment. Melissa holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
