James Sarkis has the honor of leading the Social Enterprise Operations and Performance Team providing guidance and support to the Social Enterprise (SE) function. The primary impetus of his work is to promote the operational excellence and programmatic impact of SE work crews across the country. James oversees complex projects and provides hands-on leadership for SE-focused system automation and optimization; drives workflow improvements and manages large-scale change initiatives; leads the design and implementation of the department’s infrastructure, including new systems, processes, and analytical tools; and conducts deep-dive analyses to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions that streamline Social Enterprise operations. This work balances commercial quality for customers with mission-driven programming for participants.
Based in Hazel Park, Michigan, James has built a career centered on enhancing efficiency, fostering innovation, and empowering teams to achieve sustainable growth.
Before transitioning into operational leadership, James served as a Substance Abuse Counselor at the Windsor Regional Hospital Detoxification Centre, a role that likely informed his person-centric approach to leadership and development.
