Emily Levett

Emily Levett is the Senior Director of Development for the Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO). In this position, she leads the organization’s Fund Development team, encompassing foundation, corporate, and individual giving.

Emily has dedicated her career to advancing transformative visions of safety and justice. She spent seven years as a campaigner and policy expert, successfully working to enact justice reforms in states across the country. This work culminated in the passage of large legislative packages in Mississippi in 2014, Alaska in 2016, and Louisiana in 2017 with the Pew Charitable Trusts, among others. In 2019, she transitioned to fund development, including managing fundraising and board relations for FWD.us, a national nonprofit focused on immigration and justice reform. 

Emily lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, Drew, her son, Leon, and her dog, Bumper.
