Courtney Adkinson is a public policy leader with over a decade of cross-sector, multi-state experience advancing juvenile justice, criminal justice, and workforce development initiatives nationwide. She joined CEO in 2021 and currently serves as Director of Policy and Business Development for Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, and North Carolina, where she leads revenue strategy and drives growth across the offices within her portfolio, aligning policy priorities with sustainable funding and high-impact partnerships.
Prior to joining CEO, Courtney served as a Policy Analyst in Washington, D.C.’s Deputy Mayor’s Office of Education, where she helped shape the city’s workforce and education response and recovery strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her career includes roles within Virginia’s Governor’s Office, The Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Council of State Governments Justice Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Spelman College and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership & Public Policy.
