Aaron Walling

As the Director of Policy and Business Development for California, Aaron works to sustain and expand CEO’s diverse revenue streams, building the vital partnerships and donor relationships that allow the organization to provide high-quality services across the state.

Aaron transitioned into this strategic role in September 2025 after six years as the Regional Director for Programs in Southern California. This deep-rooted experience in program leadership informs Aaron’s current work, keeping the mission grounded in the lived experiences of the men and women CEO serves. 

Before pivoting to reentry work, Aaron spent 13 years in international development, working on clean water projects throughout Latin America, Asia, and East Africa. Aaron is based out of the CEO San Diego office.
