Patrick Reyes


Patrick Jayson Reyes is a proud Brooklyn, NY native and resident, and son of Filipino immigrants. He is a 2020 graduate of Binghamton University, the State University of New York where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Rhetoric. Patrick is currently a Criminal Defense Paralegal II in the Criminal Appeals Bureau of The Legal Aid Society in New York City, where he works in the realm of criminal appeals and other post-conviction matters. He intends to go to law school in the near future to obtain a J.D., and also wants to concurrently pursue a Master in Public Policy degree. His other professional experiences have included working for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, a U.S. Senator, the New York City Board of Elections, and a popular men’s fashion retailer.

Apart from work and organizational involvement, Patrick is also an avid cook, a tennis enthusiast, a San Antonio Spurs fan, and an R&B/Soul aficionado. In his spare time, you’ll frequently find him listening to artists like Musiq Soulchild, reading books/articles regarding pertinent social issues and political analysis, or learning about new things online. He starts off most of his days by working out and listening to The Brian Lehrer Show on NPR.
