With a passion for driving change, Michelle leads the Fund Development team at CEO. Her strategic vision and commitment to the organization's mission have played a pivotal role in securing resources that empower individuals impacted by incarceration.

Prior to her work in fundraising, Michelle spent a decade working in policy and corporate social responsibility with a focus on ending the trafficking of children. Michelle has contributed to government testimony, presented to the World Economic Forum, Institute of Medicine, and the White House. She developed and launched industry-wide training about human trafficking for hotels and meeting professionals. Michelle has been featured on CNN, the New York Times, Thomson Reuters, and Forbes, among other publications.

She was selected as a finalist for 2019 PCMA Visionary Award for Community Advocate of the Year, named a Top 1,000 in Events for Social Responsibility & Sustainability by BizBash, 2019 In-Crowd 40 Under 40 by Connect Association Magazine, one of the 2018 Top 500 People in Events for Social Responsibility by BizBash, Hero by MeetGreen, and a Changemaker by MeetingsNet.

Michelle is currently an advisor to Meeting Professionals Against Human Trafficking.
