The Center for Employment Opportunities has recently expanded its operations into upstate New York with three new locations: Buffalo, Albany and Westchester.  CEO’s proven model from New York City has been replicated to fit the needs of these areas. 
 

In Buffalo


Since October 2009, CEO has been operating in Buffalo, Erie County’s largest municipality and New York State’s second largest city. CEO Buffalo operates two transitional work crews of 5-7 participants on behalf of the Buffalo Olmsted Parks. These work crews help maintain the 1,200 acres of park and parkway system the Buffalo Olmsted Park Conservancy manages. CEO Buffalo maintains 15-22 active participants at all times. In Westchester


Since August 2009, CEO has been operating in Westchester, the largest suburban county near New York City. CEO Westchester operates HOW MANY transitional work crews of 5-7 participants in conjunction with Westchester County Probation Direct Treatment Alternatives to Incarceration (DTATI). In Albany


Since November 2009, CEO has been operating in Albany, the fourth largest city in New York and the state capital. CEO Albany operates two transitional work crews of 5-7 participants on behalf of the WHO. These work crews WHAT. CEO Albany maintains HOW MANY active participants at all times. How the Program Works


These individuals work 4-days a week on transitional job sites and rotate a day off the site to work 1-on-1 with a Job Coach or Job Developer to help find permanent, full-time employment. For more in depth overview of the CEO Theory of Change and our program model, click here.
